Rubber Soul is Album of the Week, Plus The “Let It Be” Sessions, and “Let It Be Naked” Makes It a Beatles Sunday, December 1, 2019

Good Morning, Ungovernables! It’s the first day of December and Rubber Soul debuts as Album of the Week. We are feeling very Beatle-ish here today.

Here’s your line-up!

11:00 a.m.     Album of the Week: Rubber Soul by The  Beatles

This was The Beatles sixth studio album, and was released on December 3, 1965, so this is also a birthday celebration of sorts. Things began to transform here.  The songwriting leapt forward, and the band showed some influences from Dylan and The Byrds.

2:00 p.m.      Strike Watch with Adam Rice

4:00 p.m.      The Beatles: The Let It Be Sessions. Up until now, they’ve been rare and unlreaased. Not anymore.

9:00 p.m.      The Beatles: Let It Be Naked

The way it was originally intended to be heard.

So cast off all that propaganda, and turn it up:
