9:00 a.m. Ladies Sing The Blues Trifectas

We’ve got them running from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. today at the top of each hour, in order: Janis Joplin, Koko Taylor, Bonnie Raitt, Marcia Ball and Tracy Nelson. It’s a preview of our new ‘Ladies Sing The Blues’ EP scheduled for launch next week!

4:00 p.m. Album of The Week: Nashville Skyline by Bob Dylan

We take a slight break in the blues programming for Dylan’s second spin of his country Album of The Week.

7:00 p.m. In the Spotlight: The Music of Susan Tedeschi

We haven’t heard this one in a bit, so we give you one of the best of the blues ladies in Susan Tedeschi. Proud to say that she’s Boston born and raised, and is now a member of one of the finest big blues bands on the planet, Tedeschi Trucks who will play Boston this coming September.

Before, in between and after our blues programming today we’ve got our big, wide Open Stream with The Music Mermaid. As you know, she has impeccable taste in music and you just never know what she’ll tap in to.
