I may be an anomaly, but I much prefer the Dead’s studio music to their long, rambling jams. We play plenty of ‘Live Dead’ concerts here (we’re taking a break from that Saturday night tradition, but we’ll get back to it) for our Deadheads, but today it’s from the studio.

This great live performance is new to the station. We’ve never aired it before. Townes Van Zandt, although not as ‘big’ as Bob Dylan, is often mentioned in the same breath as Dylan when it comes to songwriting. Listen in and see why.
