James Taylor is the son of a “Down East Yankee” (as his mother describes herself) and a Down South doctor. Born in New England but raised in North Carolina, we here consider him a native New Englander as he returned to the region. More importantly, James Taylor is one of the most outstanding singer-songwriters of his generation who has sold more than 100 million records worldwide. Tonight he is in our Spotlight.
