What do Robert Johnson, Bonnie Raitt, B.B. King, Ry Cooder, Susan Tedeschi and John Lee Hooker all have in common? They’re all part of this great playlist of blues artists. We even have artists who have paid homage to the blues, although they may not be considered pure “blues” artists, like Linda Ronstadt, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers and Canned Heat. Either way, it’s five hours of uninterrupted blues to kick off Tuesday Bluesday.

4:00 p.m. Album of The Week: Sheer Heart Attack by Queen

Queen is back for their second spin with our Album of The Week, Sheer Heart Attack, the band’s third studio album and the one that put them on the map worldwide.

7:00 p.m. Albert Collins Live at The Fillmore West, San Francisco, CA, December 26-28, 1969

We go into the Wayback Machine for this one, a great performance recorded during a three-night residency at the famed Fillmore West.
