On Tuesday Bluesday It’s ‘The Best of Chicago Blues’ EP, Susan Tedeschi and Peter Green on November 12, 2024

Good morning, Bluesologists and welcome to another Tuesday Bluesday. We start off with Windy City blues, then it’s a Susan Tedeschi Spotlight and live music from Peter Green’s Splinter Group.

Here’s your Tuesday Bluesday lineup:

9:00 a.m. The Best of Chicago Blues: Various Artists

We start out with five hours of Windy City blues from Otis Rush, Willie Dixon, Albert King, Muddy Waters, Little Walter, Bo Diddley, Koko Taylor, Lowell Fulson, Howlin’ Wolf, Buddy Guy, Magic Slim, Sonny Boy Williamson, Son Seals, James Cotton, Paul Butterfield, Elmore James, Jimmy Reed, Otis Spann and more!

4:00 p.m. In The Spotlight: The Music of Susan Tedeschi

Boston native Susan Tedeschi is a blues tour de force. Her incredible voice and searing guitar work are tailor made for the blues and she certainly delivers, whether performing as a solo artist or as one of the leaders of the Tedeschi Trucks Band.

We managed to get our hands on a new live performance by these guys and we’re happy to be airing it this evening.

It’s always busy in The Lounge on Tuesdays but there’s room for all here. We’re on 24/7 at no cost to you folks and we’re free of commercial advertising. We’re in it for the music, and only the music. See for yourself. The button is below.
