We’re over the midweek hump and headed toward the weekend. The orange-faced fascist will be golfing, and we’ll be peaceful for at least a couple of days. We’ve got our ‘Ode to Morning,’ a Dolly Parton ‘Spotlight,’ and live Rolling Stones on tap today!

Here’s your Thursday lineup:
9:00 a.m. Ode To Morning: Various Artists
Yesterday it was songs about the night. Today it’s songs about the beauty of renewal of morning with Yusuf/Cat Stevens, The Beatles, Hoyt Axton, Neil Young, The Rascals, Waylon Jennings, Joan Baez, James Taylor, Gram Parsons, Simon & Garfunkel, Taj Mahal, Harry Chapin, Linda Ronstadt, Dan Fogelberg, Three Dog Night, Ry Cooder, Tim Buckley, Muddy Waters, Jonathan Edwards, Bob Dylan, Badfinger, Townes Van Zandt and more!
4:00 p.m. In The Spotlight: The Music of Dolly Parton
We’ve got a really eclectic lineup today and Dolly is a big part of that in the mid-afternoon time slot. Fun fact about Dolly is that she is estimated to have written 3,000 songs over her long career; releasing 950 of them herself. The rest have been sung by many other artists. Dolly has also sung more than 950 songs; the others have been written by others. She’s truly a musical legend.
8:00 p.m. The Rolling Stones Live at The Super Arena, Saitama, Japan, April 2, 2006
We close it out with the Stones on their 2006 tour with a performance from Saitama.
We’re here. We’re free. And we do not run commercial advertising at any time. We’re an anti-capitalist music station. We don’t want to be like the pay-for-play music services, so you can’t build individual playlists. That’s not radio. The button is below.
