Good Morning, Ungovernables! We’ve got some great new music today, as always. And a great programming schedule.

townes van zandt

Here’s today’s line-up:

11:00 a.m.     Poet: A Tribute to Townes VanZandt

I have found many who don’t recognize the name. But those of us who do understand why there’s a tribute album. Despite a troubled life. VanZandt was an influence on many and many have recorded his songs, including Emmylou Harris, Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson,  and Guy Clark.

2:00 p.m.       Traffic: Live at Woodstock ’94    NEW!

Yeah, there was only one real Woodstock. We know that. However, Traffic and Steve Winwood are a staple here at #BecomeUngovernable Radio, no matter where they play.

5:00 p.m.      Folk Music From A to Z

In keeping with the Townes VanZandt theme, we’re featuring a great folk music playlist today. Enjoy.

9:00 p.m.      Album of the Week: The Doors, by The Doors

We’re free. Always. No bullshit. No advertising.
