And yesterday, Paul Simon turned 80 years old. Today we put Paul Simon In the Spotlight with music from his Simon & Garfunkel days as well as from his solo career. Happy Belated Birthday, Paul. We’re sometimes a day late, but never a dollar short.
3:00 p.m. Album of The Week: Excitable Boy by Warren Zevon
Our second-to-last airing is today, with our final airing coming on Saturday. Get in on it while you can. This may well be a more controlled environment than the usual Heartbreakers’ live turn, but it’s no less amazing a performance. Both Tom Petty and the band are at the top of their game here, singing their hits, some deep cuts, plus a few surprises. Tune it in, folks.
