You’ll hear The Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, The Doors, The Monkees, The Mamas & The Papas, The Lovin’ Spoonful, Jackson Browne, Joni Mitchell, Linda Ronstadt, CSNY, Neil Young, Stephen Stills & Manassas, John Mayall, The Eagles, Bonnie Raitt, Canned Heat, The Eagles, J.D.Souther, Carole King, James Taylor, and more!
7:00 p.m. In the Spotlight: The Music of Creedence Clearwater Revival
Creedence is one of our favorites here in The Mermaid Lounge. We think they’re one of the best rock n’ roll bands to strap on some gee-tars. When they first came out, we were convinced they were straight out of a Louisiana bayou. In fact, they are four guys from Berkeley. And they are In the Spotlight here tonight.
Tune us in. We’ve already got Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Faroe Islands, Russian Federation, Sweden, France, Australia, Canada, Brazil, South Africa, Japan, and Mexico on this morning. Some of these guys have been on all night! Switzerland has been tuned in for two days! Either the guy is dead or he really likes the music.
