7:00 p.m. In The Spotlight: The Music of Jerry Jeff Walker

We haven’t heard this for a while, and it is definitely time to break it out into the open again. Born Ronald Clyde Crosby, our friend Jerry Jeff knew he couldn’t cut it as one of the leaders of the country outlaw movement with that name. He is best known for writing the song Mr. Bojangles, but he was much more than that. My personal favorite album is It’s A Good Night For Singin’ and my all-time favorite JJW song is Very Short Time. Like it or not, we’re all on short time here.

Great collection of music here today. We’ve got all basic genres covered with the exception of Reggae, which we have plenty of in our daily stream. Join Germany, The Netherlands, Chile, Peru, Spain, the UK, Ireland, Greece, Australia, and points beyond today. It’s totally free, folks. Every day.
