The 27 Club is one of the most notorious in all of music, the musicians who have lived to just the ripe young age of 27 and then moved on to Rock n’ Roll Heaven. You can read more about it here. Of course, we don’t play everyone here, so we’ll tell you our playlist consists of Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison (The Doors), Amy Winehouse,Brian Jones (The Rolling Stones), Ron “Pigpen” McKernan (The Grateful Dead), the great bluesman Robert Johnson,Alan “Blind Owl” Wilson (Canned Heat), Pete Ham (Badfinger), and Malcolm Hale (Spanky & Our Gang).
