We pay homage to Stax Records, home of Booker T. & The MG’s, who actually started out as the official Stax House Band playing behind all those great R & B artists before becoming legends in their own right. You’ll also hear Sam & Dave, Carla Thomas, Otis Redding, Eddie Floyd, The Delfonics, The Dramatics, Albert King and Rufus Thomas.

This is an especially great day to tune us in since we have finally gotten one of our desired playlists off the drawing board and onto the server. You’ll like the Soulsville, U.S.A. playlist. We’re sure of it.
