Etta James is one of the most versatile singers ever, singing gospel, blues, jazz, R & B, soul, and rock n’ roll. She began her career in 1954 and sang in Nashville’s R & B clubs known as the Chitlin’ Circuit in the 50s and 60s, and is known for her hits At Last, Tell Mama, The Wallflower and I’d Rather Go Blind.
