The fourth studio album by Little Feat was released on August 9. 1974. Background vocals on this album were provided by Bonnie Raitt and Emmylou Harris, and additional musicians included the Tower of Power Horns. The members of this great band are:

Good Morning, Ungovernables! Yesterday was the anniversary of the great Roy Orbison’s passing on December 6, 1988. We almost missed it entirely, but we didn’t. We give him his due today. Not only was he a great solo performer, but he was a member of The Traveling Wilburys.

This was The Beatles sixth studio album, and was released on December 3, 1965, so this is also a birthday celebration of sorts. Things began to transform here. The songwriting leapt forward, and the band showed some influences from Dylan and The Byrds.

4:00 p.m. The Beatles: The Let It Be Sessions. Up until now, they’ve been rare and unlreaased. Not anymore.
