Good morning, bluesologists, and welcome to another Tuesday Bluesday! We’ve got a fantastic lineup for you here today, including two masters ‘in session’ from Sweden.

Here’s your bluesy lineup:
9:00 a.m. The Best of Chicago Blues: Various Artists
We head out to the Windy City for some blues from Otis Rush, Willie Dixon, Albert King, Muddy Waters, Little Walter, Bo Diddley, Koko Taylor, Lowell Fulson, Howlin’ Wolf, Buddy Guy, Magic Slim, Sonny Boy Williamson, Son Seals, James Cotton, Paul Butterfield, Elmore James, Jimmy Reed, Otis Spann and more!
4:00 p.m. In The Spotlight: The Tedeschi Trucks Band
We’ve got the biggest, baddest blues-rock band on the planet for you this afternoon with the greatest blues guitarist in the business in Derek Trucks and one hell of a blues singer in Susan Tedeschi.
8:00 p.m. Johnny Winter & Dr. John ‘In Session’ at Sonnet Studios, Stockholm, Sweden, Recorded in 1987
This is one of those sessions where we cannot pin down a firm date (which drives me nuts), but all of the sources mark the event for 1987. So, here we are with blues master Johnny Winter and Louisiana legend Dr. John.
We’ve got another strong Tuesday Bluesday offering here. We’re on 24/7 unless there’s some kind of cataclysmic weather event, and we’re always free of charge and free of commercial interruptions. The button is below!
