They’re coming to Boston in September. If I were still doing big venues (which I’m not), I’d be there for sure. If you’re still into big venues, don’t miss them. Lukas Nelson & Promise of The Real is the opening act and they don’t suck either.

I’ve seen James Cotton a couple of times, once here in Boston and once on a business trip to Chicago, but there is surprisingly few ‘live’ James Cotton performances captured on tape. We do have this one, however, recorded at the famous Antoine’s in New Orleans sometime in July of 1987.
