4:00 p.m.      Martin Luther King’s Opposition to the Viet Nam War

In keeping with the spirit of peace, we listen to MLK on why  he says no to Viet Nam.

7:00 p.m.      In the Spotlight: The Music of Crosby, Stills, Nash & (Sometimes) Young

Woodstock ’69 marked the debut of a very young band named Crosby, Stills & Nash. It was the beginning of a musical legacy. We celebrate their birth today In the Spotlight.

Good Morning, Ungovernables! Here’s your programming for this Thursday, and it includes a two-part feature on the controversial blocking of a special on the Israeli lobby due to intense pressure from Israel.

1:00 p.m.     Chris Hedges on the Israel Lobby, Part 1

The controversial documentary The Lobby was blocked due to intense Israeli pressure. However, copies of this film were released by the Chicago-based Electronic Intifada, the French web site Orient XXI, and the Lebanese newspaper Al-Akbar. Chris Hedges interviews Electronic Intifada co-founder Ali Abunimah, and journalist Max Blumenthal about this documentary. Part 2 airs tonight at 7:00 p.m.
