It’s a banner day here on #BecomeUngovernable Radio. Yesterday, I got my text that the Tom Petty package has indeed shipped. We will have some fun the rest of Tom Petty Month, but in the meantime…

Here’s Friday’s line-up!
11:00 a.m. Tom Petty & Mike Campbell: The Dynamic Duo
While it’s true that Petty often brought the songs to the band, it is also true that Mike Cambell often brought a great riff to Mr. Petty. This playlist highlights their songwriting partnership.
3:00 p.m. Jimi Hendrix Live at The Cafe Au-Go-Go, New York City, March 17, 1968 NEW!
Hendrix live. Tough stuff to find, but fun to go hunting for. And I am always on the hunt, so stay tuned.
7:00 p.m. Joni Mitchell Live at Carnegie Hall, New York, February 23, 1972
I saw Joni Mitchell live on her Court & Spark tour with Tom Scott & The LA Express. She was brilliant, and she was often not a pleasant soul on stage. Be careful not to clap at the wrong time. One of the most revered singer-songwriters of all time, and rightfully so.
It’s a fine morning. Why not tune us in? I mean, there’s absofuckinglutely no reason not to: We’re free. No credit card or personal information required.
