Good Morning, Bluesologists! Here we are on another Tuesday Bluesday in The Mermaid Lounge. We’ve got a great selection for you today.

Here’s today’s line-up:
11:00 a.m. Johnny Winter Live at The Bottom Line, New York City, September 5, 1978
For reasons unknown to me, sometimes this guy is overlooked by blues music lovers (but not his peers, like Muddy Waters). He is never overlooked here in The Mermaid Lounge either, and today we feature him live at The Bottom Line.
3:00 p.m. Album of The Week: Hotcakes by Carly Simon
The second airing of our Album of The Week, one of Carly Simon’s biggest sellers and for good reason. It’s definitely our favorite Carly Simon album here at #BecomeUngovernable Radio.
7:00 p.m. Albert King & Stevie Ray Vaughan: In Session, December 6, 1983
A great session recorded live at CHCH-TV Studios in Ontario, Canada, when Stevie Ray Vaughan was 29 years old, and Albert King was in his sixtieth year. Two masters at work.
Tuesday Bluesday is always a good day to tune us in, of course. But then again, any day of the week is a good day to avail yourself of our services. We are not-for-profit radio. Period. End of story.
