As we said at the beginning, Jesse Winchester is one of the most underrated and underappreciated singer-songwriters of his generation, but certainly not by his peers. His music has been recorded by Emmylou Harris, Elvis Costello, Jimmy Buffet, Joan Baez, Willie Nelson, and even Patti Page. You ought to get to know the guy.
