He also founded the rock band El Rayo-X. He left this world on March 3 of this year. This one is for Mr. Lindley.

On January 10, we lost guitar god Jeff Beck at the age of 78, but he was more than just a guitar god. Beck influenced others for generations. He was an eight-time Grammy winner who spent time in The Yardbirds and The Jeff Beck Group. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll hall of Fame twice, once in 1992 with The Yardbirds and again in 2009 as a solo artist. As we assemble a Spotlight feature on him, we start with this great live reunion performance from 2006 at B. B. King’s Blues Club.

Before, in between and after we give you our wide Open Stream under the supervision of The Music Mermaid. She has impeccable taste in music, as you well know.
