The final airing of Carole King’s masterpiece. Tomorrow, we’ll have a brand new Album of the Week when you wake up!

5:00 p.m.    Bob Marley & The Wailers Live at the Beacon Theater, May 1, 1976

The Wailers were initially formed when self-taught musician Hubert Winston McIntosh (Peter Tosh) met the singers Neville Livingston (Bunny Wailer), and Robert Nesta Marley (Bob Marley) in 1963. The Beacon Theater show in 1976 was part of the Rastaman Vibration Tour.

10:00 p.m.   Live Dead: The Grateful Dead Live at the Oakland Auditorium Arena, December 31, 1979  NEW!

Blind from birth and raised in inner-city Detroit, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Stevie Wonder was an accomplished musician by the age of eight, and recorded his first song at the age of 12. Today, we give him his due.

6:00 p.m.    Bob Dylan & George Harrison Almost Went to See Elvis (1997)

It’s a mystery, folks. According to Harrison, Elvis stood them up. But according Dylan, it was the other way around.

The “core” of the Jeff Beck Group was guitarist Jeff Beck, vocalist Rod Stewart (yes, that Rod Stewart), and rhythm guitarist Ronnie Wood, with the bassists and drummers changing pretty frequently. Pictured with the three core members is bassist Jet Harris.

5:00 p.m.    Album of the Week: Tapestry by Carole King

The monster 1971 release is back for another airing.
