Tom Petty had mentored The Shelters, helped to produce their first album (recorded in The Clubhouse), and was working on their second when he died.

5:00 p.m.      Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers Live in Tuscaloosa, Alabama

9:00 p.m.      The Beach Boys: The Smile Sessions
