Bob Dylan’s New Song, A Tribute to Bill Withers, Our New “Live Dead” & The Last Airing of “Souvenirs,” on Saturday, April 4, 2020

Good Morning, Ungovernables! We’ve got some great programming today, including Bob Dylan’s first new release in eight years. By the way, the fun begins early today!

Bill Withers-2

Here’s your line-up:

9:00 a.m.   Album of the Week: Souvenirs by Dan Fogelberg.

Our final airing. Tomorrow when you roll out of bed, there’ll be a new Album of the Week posted on the blog.

1:00 p.m.   Bob Dylan’s Ode to JFK: Murder Most Foul   NEW!

A surprise release from Dylan that brings the JFK assassination back home again. We will play this release several times over the next week.

4:00 p.m.   In the Spotlight: The Music of Bill Withers  NEW!

The guy who never cared about being a star certainly left us a great body of work. We pay tribute to Withers today. He passed away on March 30th.

10:00 p.m. Live Dead: The Grateful Dead, Europe ’72: Copenhagen, April 17, 1972 NEW!

This is the second Copenhagen show of the tour; not a repeat of our earlier broadcast. And we all know that no two Dead shows are ever the same.

Hey, we’re stuck at home. You should tune us in. Nothing required but a computer and a tab on your browser.
