Good Morning, Ungovernables! We’ve got another great line-up on Tuesday Bluesday, including SRV and Bonnie Raitt at the 1985 Bumbershoot Arts Festival.
Here’s your Tuesday Bluesday line-up:
12:00 p.m. It’s Tuesday Bluesday! Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble, Featuring Bonnie Raitt, The Bumbershoot Arts Festival, 1985 NEW BOOTLEG!
Is there a better pairing when it comes to the blues? I don’t particularly see how. Bonnie joins SRV on stage toward the end of the show for a couple of hot numbers. It’s worth the wait.
3:00 p.m. Album of the Week: All Things Must Pass by George Harrison
Tune us in for the expanded version of this epic masterpiece including some great jams.
7:00 p.m. In The Spotlight: The Music of Shawn Colvin
Shawn Colvin is one of those singer-songwriters who should be bigger than she is. Her personal demons interfered with her success early on. Although she has been a solo performer since the seventies, Colvin is best recognized for her 1997 Grammy award-winner, Sunny Came Home.
What the hell are you up to today? Listen, it’s going to pour this afternoon. Why not tune us in?
