We’ve Got a Full Slate With an Incoming and Outgoing Singer-Songwriter, The ‘#BecomeUngovernable House Music’ EP, and Our AOW, Saturday, December 24, 2022

Good Morning, Musicologists! We’ve got yet another busy Saturday as we cover all the bases, including an airing of the #BecomeUngovernable House EP.

Here’s Saturday’s Lineup:

This is the music that inspired us to start this radio station. It’s all here with Barry McGuire, The Temptations, Edwin Starr, Peter Tosh, The Beatles, Genesis, T-Rex, The Who, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Bob Dylan, Country Joe & The Fish, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Bob Marley & The Wailers, Joan Baez, CSNY, Pink Floyd, The Animals, Ten Years After, The Plastic Ono Band, Billy Joel, George Harrison, Sam Cooke. Tim Buckley also takes his final turn around the sun with our Album of The Week. A brand new one waits on deck for its debut on Sunday morning!

10:00 p.m. Singer-Songwriter Series: The Music of Kate & Anna McGarrigle NEW!

Tonight we debut two of the most brilliant and influential singer-songwriters on the planet, the McGarrigle sisters. They have written some of Linda Ronstadt’s most iconic songs, including Heart Like A Wheel and You Tell Me That I’m Falling Down, but their songs have been recorded by many, many other artists as well. They also have had a successful career all their own, and you’ll hear them sing their own songs tonight.

We’re raring to go headlong into another year. It will be our sixth, but we’ve got another whole week left in 2022 and plenty of music to share. We’ve got some special stuff lined up for next week as we celebrate Music Festival Week. Stay tuned!
