This is one of those fun albums that is made after many years in the business. Most of these songs have appeared on other of Harris’ albums or on her singing partner’s albums. (Linda Ronstadt has also made a Duets album and we will feature hers next week.) Last week Guy Clark was our featured singer-songwriter and this week we give you his second studio album as our Album of The Week, recorded in Nashville and released in 1976. Clark wrote all the songs on the album with the exception of Black Haired Boy which he wrote with the help of his wife, Susanna. This was the first album I ever heard by Guy Clark. I immediately went out and bought his first, Old No. 1. That is already on our list for the future.
