It’s Saturday and We’ve Got One Outgoing and One Incoming Singer-Songwriter, and Our Multi-Artist ‘The British Are Coming’ EP, November 26, 2022

Today is the final airing of the late, great Nanci Griffith as our featured singer-songwriter. Get in on this one if you’ve got the time this morning. We’re starting a bit earlier than usual.

We do not clog up the music pipeline with commercial advertising, and your money (and credit cards) are no good here.

We’re Back With Our ‘British Are Coming’ EP and Joni Mitchell’s Curtain Call as The Featured Singer-Songwriter Later, Friday, October 28, 2022

Good Morning, Music Lovers! We hope you enjoyed your Open Stream-fest yesterday, but we are back today with a great EP of music from The British Invasion and beyond, and Joni Mitchell’s final airing as our featured Singer-Songwriter later.

Here’s your musical lineup for Friday:

11:00 a.m. The British Are Coming: Various Artists

A lot of great music stuff went on starting with the sixties. We have the Laurel Canyon crowd, and then we had musical cross-pollination between the American bands and the British bands. You’ll hear The Beatles (of course, people), The Who, Dave Mason, Electric Light Orchestra, Petula Clark, The Zombies, The Hollies, Dusty Springfield, Small Faces, Led Zeppelin, The Kinks, Queen, the Dave Clark Five, The Bee Gees, The Moody Blues, Rod Stewart, George Harrison (and the rest of the Beatles, singularly), Them, Herman’s Hermits, Gerry & The Pacemakers, Badfinger, The Yardbirds, Traffic, Elton John, Lulu, Pink Floyd, Yes, The Animals, Manfred Mann’s Earth Band, The Spencer Davis Group, Cream, Donovan (yes, we know that he is technically Scottish, but we technically don’t care) and more!

7:00 p.m. Singer-Songwriter Series: The Music of Joni Mitchell FINAL AIRING!

Today is the swan song for Joni Mitchell as our featured singer-songwriter. Her musical legacy is undeniable ’round these parts. Be that as it may, tomorrow night at 10:00 p.m, Jackson Browne takes the spot.

Once again, we’re about music, not money. We do not require a ‘subscription’ to listen. We don’t need your credit card as a ‘guarantee’ and we sure don’t want your personal information because we don’t like giving out ours. (Our pronouns are YOU).
