11:00 a.m.   Tuesday Bluesday! Willie Mae “Big Mama” Thornton with the Muddy Waters Blues Band (1966)   NEW!

Big Mama was the real deal. She sang Lieber & Stoller’s Hound Dog back in 1953, three years before Elvis hit the airwaves with the song, and made rock n’ roll history. Not only did she sing, but she played the drums and the harmonica. The pioneers of rock & roll? They know it all started with the blues and gospel.
