Back in 1987, B. B. King and his friends decided to make a ‘live’ blues album as they were recorded at the Ebony Showcase Theater in L.A. His friends included blues greats like Etta James, Gladys Knight, Chaka Khan, Paul Butterfield, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan and several more. We bring this great album to you today!

One of our absolute favorite days is the one where the women of music take over the airwaves here for several hours of music that encompasses all musical styles (there are some exclusions but we don’t need to list them if you’re a listener). To this day, the women of music get the short end of the stick on many radio stations, but not this one.
