We’ve got an Open Stream day today, giving you hours of our extensively eclectic musical collection with absolutely no commercial interruption. The Music Mermaid is fully in charge and who knows what she’ll do. She could actually even chose a playlist, or a trifecta, or she could just choose to let our file of 30,000 songs run free and wild. Today they’re called Jeff Lynne’s ELO and rightly so. They just went on their farewell tour. If I were still attending big venue events, I’d have seen them in Boston. I’m not. But I’ve seen them twice before and they never disappoint. Today we have them live from the Paris Theatre in London.

Singer, songwriter, poet, Nobel Prize Winner and veteran of 60 years in the music business, we put Bob Dylan ‘In the Spotlight’ tonight to close out our programming.

Let’s not forget that he’s a solo artist and a producer for many artists, including Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers. That’s what I call a great resume.
