After Chess Records folded, Muddy Waters needed a landing spot, so he singed up with Sky Records in 1971. Then he hooked up with energetic blues guitarist Johnny Winter, who helped return Muddy Waters to the top of his game, even winning a Grammy or two in the process.

They were on the music scene from 1963 through 1968 and are referred to as ‘the all-girl Beatles’.
