10:00 a.m. The Band: The Last Waltz
If someone were to ask me the greatest American band next to Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, it wouldn’t be The Eagles. It would be these guys. They had a career that spanned decades and hundreds of songs in their own right, after starting their career as Bob Dylan’s back-up band. The Last Waltz was a fitting farewell for The Band, with the likes of Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan, Emmylou Harris, and Van Morrison taking part. Here’s the music. We’ll be live streaming the movie in the next few weeks.

Is it real? Or isn’t it? Terry L. Gannon received his Ph.D. in electrical engineering and device physics from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
