*Oh, yeah, we invited the Dead for their usual 10:00 p.m. appearance to move us into the new week!

Good Morning, Ungovernables! This is the Women’s Week Grand Finale, and we end it the way we began: New live Linda Ronstadt at The Universal Amphitheater in L.A.

Here’s today’s line-up!

11:00 a.m.   The Original All-Girl Revue!

The original is still the best. Hear Linda Ronstadt, Bonnie Raitt, Carly Simon, Carole King, Aretha Franklin, Ann Peebles, Stevie Nicks, Carlene Carter and many others!

3:00 p.m.     Album of the Week: Western Wall: The Tuscon Sessions by Linda Ronstadt & Emmylou Harris   FINAL AIRING!

Today we bid a fond farewell to this great album. Tomorrow we will have a brand new selection for you.

7:00 p.m.    Linda Ronstadt Live at the Universal Amphitheater, October 3, 1977  NEW!

I hear it when you hear it. The buzz is that it’s great sound quality even though it’s a rare recording. Right now, this is the only UA recording I can find anywhere. And anyone who is familiar with Ronstadt’s career knows that her nights at the UA numbered in the 20 range during this time.

10:00 p.m.   LIVE DEAD! The Grateful Dead Live at The Cameron Indoor Stadium, Durham, N.C., April 12, 1978   NEW!

The Dead kicks out the jams with their usual 10:00 p.m. time slot, ushering us into the new week of music with a 3+ hour set live from North Carolina.

This is a great day to join us. It’s Saturday. This isn’t rocket science. And it’s free. And it’s outside the system. Every fucking day.
