He also wrote some of the best: Cocaine, After Midnight, The Old Man and Me, 13 Days, and Crazy Mama are among his compositions.

Spyboy consisted of three members: country singer-songwriter Buddy Miller on guitar and New Orleans musicians Daryl Johnson on bass and Brady Blade on drums.
